Comparison and evidence

Compare authorized options, not advertisements.

A useful comparison starts with the address and the requirement—then shows what is actually eligible, what it costs, what it includes and what remains unknown.

Envoy does not publish invented prices or treat a marketing claim as a verified offer.

What a real comparison includes.

  • Serviceability

Which providers and technologies can actually serve the address, and how that was determined.

  • Price provenance

The source, version and date behind a price—not a number copied from another campaign.

  • Term and commitments

Contract length, renewal, termination exposure and any required conditions.

  • Installation

Who installs, what is included, lead time and site-readiness requirements.

  • Equipment

What is provided, rented, purchased or customer-owned, and who supports it.

  • Service and support

Support hours, escalation, repair obligations and any committed service level.

  • Taxes and fees

Recurring and one-time charges that are not part of the headline price.

  • Exit and change

What happens on a move, upgrade, downgrade, renewal or early termination.

Evidence states, kept separate.

These records are not interchangeable. Each answers a different question.

StateWhat it meansWhat it is not
ReportedA provider or customer says something is available. Not verified serviceability.
DerivedCoverage data suggests availability. Not a provider commitment.
Provider-verifiedAn authorized provider confirms eligibility. Not a final quote unless priced.
QuotedA provider issues commercial terms. Not an order.
OrderedThe provider acknowledges an order. Not active service.
ActivatedThe provider confirms the service is live. Not proof of customer satisfaction.

Envoy labels which state a statement is in. A later state is not assumed because an earlier one exists.

How the comparison happens.

  1. Describe the requirement

Location, use, capacity, reliability, timing and decision constraints.

  2. Confirm the address

Check what is known and identify what needs provider confirmation.

  3. Collect authorized options

Gather eligible offers from authorized sources, with dates and assumptions.

  4. Normalize the economics

Compare total cost, term, equipment, fees and support on a consistent basis.

  5. Review the tradeoffs

Explain what each option solves, what it does not, and what remains unknown.

  6. Decide and document

Record the choice, the approval and the next action with an owner.

No pressure, no invented urgency.

Envoy does not fabricate expiring offers, limited-time pricing or provider deadlines. If a real deadline exists, its source and date are documented.

You are allowed to take time to verify a provider, a price or a contract term before deciding.

Compare on evidence, not on a headline.

Bring the address and the requirement. Envoy will show what is verified, what is quoted and what still needs confirmation.

Comparison content is informational and does not constitute a provider offer, a price quote or a guarantee of availability. Actual terms come from the applicable provider and agreement.
