Envoy Fiber

Managed connectivity

Managed connectivity and ongoing support.

Connectivity does not end at activation. Envoy coordinates monitoring, support, maintenance, backup and lifecycle management so services keep working after the install.

Every managed service starts with a written scope: what is included, who owns what, and what happens when something fails.

What can be managed.

  • Managed Wi-Fi

Configuration, coverage, support and optimization for the wireless network.

  • Managed network

Device management, alerts, maintenance and change coordination.

  • Backup and failover

Monitoring, testing and escalation for the continuity path.

  • Service desk

A support entry point across multiple providers and sites.

  • Monitoring

Availability and health signals with an owner for response.

  • Equipment lifecycle

    Tracking, configuration, replacement and returns.

  • Multi-site support

    Portfolio visibility and incident coordination.

  • Network reporting

    Periodic reports, recommendations and reviews.

How a managed service starts.

  1. Scope

Define the sites, services, support hours, exclusions and responsibilities.

  2. Baseline

Document the current network, equipment, providers and known issues.

  3. Onboard

Configure monitoring, access and the support workflow.

  4. Monitor

Watch the agreed signals and route exceptions to an owner.

  5. Support

Handle incidents, changes and requests within the agreed scope.

  6. Review

Review performance, open issues and recommendations.

  7. Renew or expand

Revisit the scope as the business and network change.

Clear boundaries are part of the service.

A managed service is only credible if everyone knows where the responsibility stops.

  • Who provides the underlying connection
  • Who bills for the service
  • Who installs and maintains the equipment
  • What support hours and escalation paths apply
  • What is excluded from the plan
  • What the customer is responsible for
  • How incidents and changes are recorded
  • How the service can be cancelled

Monitoring is not the same as fixing.

A monitoring signal can identify a problem, but resolution depends on the provider, the equipment and the contractual responsibility.

Envoy will not report a service as restored until the evidence supports it.

Keep the service working.

Start with a documented scope, a baseline and an owner for every escalation.
